Strengthening Faith Through Tangible Actions
Ma’ruf is a non-profit organization rooted in Muslim faith and located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Established in 2008 by a multidisciplinary team of young professionals, since then MA’RUF has expanded nationally, inspiring hundreds of volunteers and community leaders to partake in its evidence-based programs—from fighting hunger and homelessness to building families by developing strong, successful role models in the most vulnerable neighborhoods and communities.
Our Mission
Ma’ruf is committed to enhancing the quality of life in Milwaukee’s disenfranchised and marginalized communities, advocating for social justice through our services to individuals, families, and communities in need. Our goal is to translate our faith into tangible action, serving as a beacon of hope and a model for human service.
